The movie does not go into details on how their project started; all we see is how they undress live in their rented luxury apartment and make love in front of the camera for money.

Sometimes alone, sometimes together, sometimes with other girls. But the man is always just Eddie.

For years, director Gábor Hörcher followed the couple, who moved from America to Budapest in order to recruit Hungarian girls for their own modeling agency.

Their goal was to outsource the real erotic adult job and operate their business as a kind of body colonizer and pimp.

Although it is not mentioned in the film, the fact that rich, paying followers can be easily reached from anywhere in the world and the cost of living is much lower in a Central European country than in America may also have played a part in their decision.

So Emma and Eddie go to Hungary, take on adult work in Budapest and look for girls, while enjoying life.

At least that's what they show about themselves.

However, the film openly shows how they exploit themselves with adultworks and what the relationship between the two turns into.

On the one hand, the film exposes the lies that glorify the advantages of self-managed porn jobs over the traditional contract-based Hollywood studio system.

However, the promise was that instead of pimps, studios, and agents, the creative artist can decide for themself what they do, when, with whom, for how much money, and where they upload it.

In other words, freedom and self-determination were the promise.

The problem is, if you want to make a lot of money doing a webcam job and be in the top 1 percent of a million webcam models, turning on the cam every couple of weeks while having sex with your husband isn't enough.

The professional training of the director and the naivety of the subjects are evident in the way they quickly and bluntly give a glimpse into the deepest moments of their coexistence.

Eddie constantly abuses his wife, be it physical or verbal abuse.

He despises her dignity, he allows himself much more than Emma would bear.

These situations are often childish, like when he set a screen lock code on the phone and even listened to his wife's panic attacks with teary eyes.

Emma is not a simple victim in the story either, the film shows that she is not free from all responsibility either.

Emma and Eddie satirically presents the situation where two young people in their twenties try to make a living from their sexy job in the adult film industry, while in every scene they continue their immature, instinctual, childlike behavior.

For the most part, Hörcher withdraws from the scenes and hides behind the camera, but it often comes up just how much it bothers our protagonists, especially Emma, ​​that they do not have the same control over the recordings recorded by the director as they can while doing their own webcam job.

Although the OnlyFans models are happy with the popularity and are happy to show themselves to the director in the better moments, when they argue and show their vulnerability, they tend to blame the crew.



At one point it may seem like we've seen everything and can go home, but then the director steps in closer to the couple and confronts them about their behavior.

Eddie must face his own abusive behavior, while Emma must justify why she is still with him.

At this point, it becomes clear that this film is no longer just about the OnlyFans adult career, but about the general abusive behavior patterns hidden in the scenery of the modern age, which are unfortunately present in many relationships.
